ARENA is looking to expand its Theatre For Schools Program and is seeking suitable scripts for Primary School or High School audiences.
Scripts should be 30-45 minutes in length to be performed by 2-3 actors with an easily transportable set.
Subject matter needs to be directly relevant to the school curriculum and have a specific target audience.
ARENA's T.F.S. productions are produced on a co-op basis. Writers are paid a set fee per performance, plus a percentage share of income above costs. Writers may also wish to direct or act in their own production or leave it entirely to ARENA to produce.

'LOST THE PLOT'
This is a unique, innovative and absolutely hilarious exploration of storytelling. Inspired by Christopher Booker's highly acclaimed work 'The Seven Basic Plots', this theatrical adventure takes a quirky and informative look at why human beings tell each other tales. It's fully interactive format utilises theatre to investigate the building blocks of narrative, and explore the role story plays in teching us about identity and choices.
TERM TWO : June 8th - 26th, 2009.
45 minute show. $3.50 per head. Minimum $350 per performance.
